Bosch has a new app that was released in March. It's called MeasureOn. I have been using the other Bosch apps, such as Floor Plan, for several years and this one is by far the best. Go check it out. I just downloaded it today and started playing with it by doing a test plan of my home so I can't explain all the features. But just a few minutes of toying around, and I am already making this my primary, go to, app.1 point

Their bits are terrible in my opinion, probably the worst bits HD sells. First gen bits sucked, second gen suck a little less.1 point

I always keep a hose, pump and water tank in the van! If I could choose where stuff blows up or needs to be installed, I would be a happy guy. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk1 point

I have gone to the dark side: I've always wanted a set of box end ratchets but never quite enough to shell out the green. HF is having one of their 20% coupon deals, and the set was under $20 with tax, so let's see how they are. The chroming is good, but they're awfully thin, and the 12mm is larger than the 13mm. Whaddya expect, I guess. We'll see how they do. Of course where there's a wrench set, there's another one of these: Not as nice as the others. The piece of firewood I picked out that I thought was ash turned out to be something softer, maybe silver maple. But it gets the job done, I guess. The 12mm and 13mm look funny together. Speaking of toolbox organization, the rest of my Goliath socket rails arrived today, so now I have my sockets drawer organized: Metric on the left, SAE on the right.1 point

Not really work today but tomorrow I will be at the Weirs for Bike Week. I am partnered up with another guy for a commercial enforcement check point hopefully preventing bad people from going in and causing problems. There are a bunch of guys from my Troop that will be assigned over there at multiple points in addition to patrol units from all over the State. I'm actually tickled pink because every year I get assigned a patrol beat and am down there for multiple layover shifts till 0200 ish so this year only one shift and I'll be using a creeper and a mag light and hopefully that's it and will be home by 9pm. I have a first Dads day weeken to enjoy!1 point

I'm a masonry contractor. Foundations, chimneys, stone veneer, bricks, etc. I started going to work with my dad when I was 7. Full time when I was 16. Started my own business when I was 28. I've never done anything else except a second job as a pizza delivery guy. I always tell my wife I lay things all day and when I get home I'd like to have it happen to me!1 point

Thanks for the info. I've got the glue gun...it's an incredible purchase. I've used it way more than I thought I would.1 point

I used it and it's pretty good. First tip is always fill it just with water only so when you run it, you can check for leaks and tighten what needs tightening. Once you hit the power button it stays on, motor runs continuously. Once adjusted it sprayed out a nice flow. Overall it's pretty good. The only downside is that 1 gallon capacity sure goes quick. Good buy. I'm also wanting the cordless hot glue gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

@Jronman the OEMs (Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Sony) optimize the batteries to get more mAh in the same size batteries. Using M18 XC packs as an example, they changed from 1500 mAh, to 2000mAh cells (hence the 4.0), then 2500mAh for 5.0 and now 3000mAh for 6.0 (another row of cells for the 9.0). That form factor is maxed out now, whereas 3000 mAh 20700 cells in the Core/ XR 20v Max/ 3.0/9.0 FlexVolt/ LiHD are basically first gen cells. What the original 1500mAh cells in M18 XC were. They'll be able to increase to 4000mAh, maybe 5000mAh in the same size cell, meaning we can get 12.0 or 15.0 batteries eventually in the same size battery pack as the FlexVolt 3.0/9.0, 8.0 or 10.0 Core and XR20v Max packs ?1 point
