  1. IF your interested in going cordless $99 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-3-8-in-Right-Angle-Drill-with-One-3-0-Ah-and-One-1-5-Ah-Battery-Charger-and-Bag-2415-20-48-59-2402SP/309029542
  2. No Gen 3 Announced that I saw. They announced an M12 Surge Impact. A longer wrench. As mentioned above a Multi-head "Installer drill" as well.
  3. https://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/milwaukee-2736-20 ACME TOOLS Currently has this down to $369.00. You can use the Promo DEALS4DAD to take an extra 20 off making it $349.00. That is the lowest i have ever seen it. Note that is the bare tool.
  4. Dewalt and Hitachi also have them. The concensus is generally that cordless tools are better quality than corded now because of the research and competition. In the last 15 years the major companies shave damped their money into cordless and largely neglected many corded tools. So I would suggest buying a cordless one. If you are set on a corded one just search "right angle drill" at home depot or you can even pick up the Harbor Freight corded knee which I think is around 30 bucks.
  5. - Don't buy any 4ah for more than $50 a piece. You can always get 2 for $99 online I believe. - Generally they are sold cheapest in pairs no matter what ah. - Need to ever have more than 6 total. - The 6-port charger kit goes on sale every now and then. watch for that as well.

  8. I have been wondering the same thing. Add to that brushless: blower, tablesaw, mulitool, and jigsaw.

    Why Ryobi? Why Not?

    1) Ryobi cordless is now every bit as good and better than Makita cordless 15 years ago. I have both. I know pros look at Ryobi and think of the the blue plastic versions that could do barely half of what red, yellow, or teal can do. They are right about the old stuff. However the new stuff, produced in the last five years has moved the quality of tool from 40% of the big brand to about 80% the quality and in some cases, like the nailers, fans, and lights are just as good. I prefer Milwuakee and Makita, sonetimes the cost beteeen them and Ryobi isnt justified. 2) Ryobi is a great compliment line to red, teal, and yellow. Vacs, lights, nailers, glue guns, fans, and others round out people's line-ups well. 3) The OPE line-up is large and doeant break the bank. They have evey type of OPE need at thrid of the cost of the big boys. Spending 150 per sting trimmer, blower, and hedge trimmers is alot when i can those plus a pole saw, chemical sprayer, and chainsaw for rhe same price.
  12. $139 today https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-GXL12V-310B22-3-Tool-Reciprocating-Worklight/dp/B0771YRK4X/ref=gbps_tit_s-4_d724_3a99009b?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=695f29ac-ec28-4005-ae23-4a6ff667d724&pf_rd_s=slot-4&pf_rd_t=701&pf_rd_i=gb_main&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=DA7YD04V2QC2GZ05CJ3F
  13. You can chain the chuck. That said this appears to have been out for at least 4 years.
