Tools & Stuff
I have often thought about buying AEG cordless tools here in NZ (Ridgid in the states) but was today put off in a big way. Here in NZ, Bunnings, a large Australasian Hardware store stock a lot of AEG stuff. Whilst there today I saw a rather large box of returned 'dead' batteries from customers. So that ended any thought of me buying those tools. Such a shame.
pancing
heh when I used to work at home depot as a repair tech there were stacks upon stacks of returned ridgid batteries, turned me off to those batteries too. The 4.0 and so on batteries seem like they're made well though

Tools & Stuff
More stuff to put me off in the paper today. 58v chainsaws recalled as they can catch on fire if you pull the trigger when the chain is jammed. Nice.
