It is an interesting device and If I was making something large it would probably be cheaper than a CNC router table. most of what I do could be handled by a small machine like the CNC Piranha FX. (~$1600.00) The Shaper hand held is currently ~1700.00, going soon to ~$2100.00. The Piranha does require that you have a computer, but obviously we all do in the forum. Jronman Posted March 10, 2017 Report Share Posted March 10, 2017 How accurate is this router? Looked to me like the person guided the router along a path on the screen. Wouldn't it be tricky to keep it on the path? looked like the router could move the bit on the x and y axis so maybe some kind or auto correct?
