I might suggest 74-01-180 even though they cut with a bevelled edge. Agreed, the truly flush cut is mostly for plastics and leads(on a capacitor or resistor), I don't even use them on diodes. The Kleins are also double beveled, the Knipex should be a great replacement. I've cut (small) screws and nails with my 7" Knipex diagonal cutters.
