Was one step to help prevent the tools from falling over or off tables and potentially damaging whatever we were working on or things below. builditguy Posted June 1, 2017 Report Share Posted June 1, 2017 When they first came out with drills that had flat bottom batteries, they marketed it as a benefit because they stood upright.
