Is this normal on the dcs365 ( 361 ) mitre saw ?

I've noticed today that if I do any bevel cuts the locking pin that holds the saw down for when you lock and carry the saw drops into place because the saw is tilted to the left and that's the way the pin slides ? Is this normal or should the pin stay in the out position ? 22d3b7fabc64ef947ed006b587b8732d.jpga88ad8c8abb5e875eb0698ee69bf535c.jpg

I have the same problem. I did buy the saw when it first came out, maybe there was an issue with the earlier models.

I keep a rubber band on mine.
When I use the saw, I put the rubber band over the pin, so it doesn't slide in and lock the head.

That's a good idea , today I put a magnet on the pin to stop it sliding which worked but it is annoying , I hadn't noticed the problem till a bevel cut
