I love clean metal. It looks like he even does custom chassis for the old fords. Does he still gas weld the seams and use lead as body filler?

yes he does everything custom, your not going to see an after market body panel, he makes it all from scratch. and yes he is still doing the old school lead seams where needed to be factory correct 100 point vehicle....

He is living the dream. Always wish I could work under a guy like that and learn the secrets of the trade.

Wow Comp my respects to your friend bro I work in the autobody and paint world and your friends work is amazing man! There's not a lot guys that like to do that there just to lazy to take on a project like that. Amazing work!

ya restoring a car by giving it as we call it a scratch and shine is one thing but building all the sheet metal by hand putting it together then painting it to show quality basically is another page all together and this guy is one of the best, I've known the guy for about 40 years, his first truck he built won all kinds of awards at the tender age of 13......the guy is gifted no question......

The first few episodes of the show about Boyd, there was an old school metal worker, that used lead. It was really neat to see the process, wished they would of showed more of that.  The whole lead melting, and shaping process truly amazes me.

American Hot Rod was the show. If you watch Bitchin Rides occasionally they'll do it, some fantastic metal workers at Kindig It.
