  1. Nice review. I like rockwell, they make some pretty good stuff.
  2. Dewalt and Bosch are the top. I can not believe how much cheap junk is out there. i am glad to see Dewalt and Bosch produced a good quality 12V.
  3. This is basically the same as the Craftsman portable table saw. I don't think the same manufacturer make the same model, but they are a close comparison. If you are looking for a portable table saw for the job site, stay away from the Ryobi in regards to the table saw. They are under powered for a day to day use and everyday. For the home owner they are not to bad. Too things you have to watch for. First the weight. If you are running sheets of plywood through the saw make sure you have weight on the base otherwise the saw is very unstable. Second if you are cutting a lot of hardwood, make sure your blade is always sharp. These saws tend to take less heat build up and wear out quicker with their motors. If you just need a saw you can pack away and are only going to use it for a couple of jobs around the house per year, then it can be a great saw because of easy of movement and price. Again if your a home user, they are not too bad, just take care of the motor.
  4. Milwaukee has dropped a lot with quality now that it is overseas. Doesn't seem like they understand professional grade tools. They just want toi put more and more out. Reminds me of what happen to Porter Cable after their buyout.
  5. Thanks for the information. I will make sure I keep some dimes on me when I am using the DW625 lol. I wonder what that does? Is there a lose wire or something not making connection? Thanks for the information.
  6. You sure the plug and cord are OK? What about the cord that is connected to the inside of the tool? No corrosion on the inside?
  7. Sounds like it could be the switch. Just make sure when your messing with the switch as you stated above, your not moving the tool. Try placing it on the work bench and if the get the same result, then it is the switch. If you place it on the work bench and only the switch moves, but nothing happens then you might have a problem with a connection inside that might be corroded
  8. I am glad you guys brought up that there are two kits. I have been looking at the 8200 for a while, but passed it up because I thought all the kits only came with one battery, Dremel made this very confusing. I guess I should have looked closer. I bought a knock off a while back, yes I am cheap, it only lasted about a month and thats why I would like to go with a quality tool. Dremel seems to be pretty good and worth the money.
