  4. lol making it work, but yeah i think we all have done something like this at some point and time i know i have
  5. Way to give it to give them it was the right thing to do. I blame all the TV shows, they never show the prices of any of the work, the actual time spent, how hard it is to do certain things, all they show is "you like this OK boom" 10 minutes, 6 commercials later its done .
  6. A couple days ago I bought a Dewalt DCR015, went to work turned it on sound really good was really happy.Busted out a battery pack to charge... Charger did not work , returned to store 2 hours later returned the radio for a refund not exchange was too dissapointed to get another one. For 217 bucks I would rather upgrade too a brushless 20v max impact drill/driver set then get a radio again
  7. man thats my biggest nightmare, getting tools stolen after spending my hard earned money on them, thats why i never leave a sinlge tool at a job site even if its a long job idc its all coming with me. Glad he didnt get anything
  8. Horse hair? Never seen that before but it is cement plaster, blending it is not so bad I've done it so much all the old houses around Beverly hills and Hollywood area are like that, and i do feel change orders coming.
  9. Bought a couple of Empire levels a 96" and a 48" a few weeks ago upgraded from my dads old school ones. So far so good already framed a wall and built a couple of standing closets with them. The look of these levels is great better then the other levels out there atleast for me, might get the 24" later on. When i registered the levels on Empire's site I put Tools In Action - professional-power-tool-guide.com in the how did you hear of us section, so maybe they will hook you guys up with something.
  10. we are currently mudding, as long as the owner doesnt make any changes we should be good
  11. Im currently renovating the second floor of a duplex for the owner. Its a old building so theres lots that needs doing but heres a rundown of some of the things partition living room to add another bedroom, remove popcorn ceiling and skim coat, redo all electrical , recessed lights, plumbing, tile, paint and more, Hopefully we can be done with the majority of it all in about 2 weeks. Ill keep posting pics as the work goes
  12. Is it worth getting a miter stand for my miter saw? Ive been debating whether or not to get one. Ive been lugging around 6x4 table everytime everytime i needed the saw. The only thing holding me back is the price I own a Bosch 5312 and the price for a bosch stand is around 300$. Can anybody tell me from expirience if the extentions and wheels are worth the money.
  13. Nice, does anyone know why they stopped selling hilti at home depot?
