  1. the dw745 was back on sale at my local HD for $225 no taxes i got mine at that price last year.
  2. ive got the milwaukke 2235-20 nice clamp on meter, got real cheap used, thought id give it a try. liking it a lot so far.
  3. any word on release date? i desperately need a cordless recip saw and trying to hold out for the new BL one, any feedback on the current XRJ03Z model?
  4. yeah ive used the pc 20v drill and impact great drills, but P&C were once top quality industrial grade tools, i still have a heavy duty industrial P&C jigsaw that actually says, industrial on it from many years ago, still use as my main jigsaw, it still works great, refuses to die, replaced the cable and trigger several times in its lifetime, been through thousands of jobs. also have a P&C router, still my best router. parts are still available, maybe one day when there are no longer parts for the industrial tools i will retire them and by that time i will also be retired and have no need to buy another.
  5. 5oz tuned me off, i normally drink 16oz, although for the job site i would totally get a OXX COFFEEBOXX and lots of deathwish coffee kcups. i usually carry backpacking gear to heat my water and brew my coffee. makes it quicker and much better coffee. for the true working coffee addicts who want something stronger and still tasty i highly recommend deathwish coffee, http://www.deathwishcoffee.com/
  6. just had a pleasant experience with makita warranty support, first time needed warranty repair with their tools, i have a vast makita tool collection and over the years never had an issue that needed any repair or support until last week, i was charging a lxt battery and the yellow tab broke off the battery as i removed it and so im located in Arizona and closet repair facility is in Las vegas, NV, sent my battery and charger to them on friday last week and received a fedex delivery today the following friday. got a brand new charger and battery, very happy with the service, it was about a 1-2 day turn around plus shipping time, cant ask for any better service than that, now that makita has extended their warranty this has boosted my confidence in their warranties should i ever need their help again in the future. previously i had 8yr old lxt batteries ran without issue other than obvious decrease in capacity. now with new batteries with led indicator and new longer warranties, makita is in my opinion top quality more than ever.
  7. Yeap I do love my coffee, but i use a coffee press, I don't use a machine. I despise preground coffee.
  8. picked a dirt cheap 135w solar panel from a yard sale, $20, brought it home cleaned it up and works great, so i was thinking, perfect opportunity to build that solar generator ive been wanting to do for a while. I had a spare large dewalt tough box laying around and thought, hey why not use that to house everything? Im constantly making improvements, but this is how my current setup looks and working, have a 100ah deep cycle marine battery, 1100w inverter, charge controller, on a good sunny day like today im able to easily charge all my toys, other batteries, as you can see i charged all 6 of my makita batteries, 4ah capacity, all without breaking a sweat, i plan to add outlets on the outside, and other 12v accessory ports, but overall, its a great little setup to charge all my stuff anywhere, and its in a tough box, its heavy but its quiet, zero maintenance and portable.
  9. $2.65 here in n.arizona, im more concerned with the price of chicken eggs going up, $5 for a dozen+, whats the price of eggs in your area?
  10. Makita is what i think when i need wood working tools, new brushless jigsaw, they have plate jointer, sander, and planer plus other tools. Only a few companies that actually have those tools in cordless form, i have the sander, planer and jigasw, all great tools being cordless, You also have a new cordless mitersaw from makita, should be awesome, and Bosch is coming out with new tools in those categories also. So really cant go wrong with either.
  11. everyone needs their own personal dna sequencer, http://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?fa=Main.Item&itemid=6&acctid=6794
  12. yeap its a good price, they must be making room for the new kits that have the 5.0ah batteries and new impacts, i recently got a the XPH07M kit which is just the drill and batteries for $299, this kit inlcudes that kit plus the impact.
  13. Cool how's the balance and weight? I've wondered about these coil framers, any difference in cost of nails?
  14. yeah i do get my makita fix from bishop tools, good seller.
  15. my store still had the 2 boxes deal for $24, bought a few, i looked at the Milwaukee boxes, still unproven, ive got quite a few of the dewalt boxes. so until one breaks keep going back.
