  1. Nice set up Toolman, love how you mix and match , I have an awp pouch at the moment love it but looking to add something to it for certain tools I use everyday or almost everyday . Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Just curious if anybody ever customizes your tool belt to your liking weather it's adding something here or there to flyer rain tool needed on a daily basis. Would love to hear some ideas and or pictures of finished product and how you did it I have some I am thinking of adding to the tool belt .. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. I am retiring the first belt with a gift from the step dad it's not the same as your guys pouches but got it as a gift so I will give me a go I just wish the new pouch had a spot for the speed square that was so nice in the last pouch Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  5. Commercial sheet metal worker. Doing hvac side of it so far hanging duct work and different units and VAV. Working on a new construction build for the Capitol here in minnesota. Some new legislative building worth 100 million. At least that's what they said in the safety meeting lol. Yes I have all the basic stuff from when I was on the architectural side of sheet metal was just looking for some tools or advice as far as what I might need that I won't see on any list on my union page. Actually almost got kicked off the job site 2 hours into the day I didn't have a trade workers card for being an apprentice. I did not know I needed one because for architectural you are not required to have one but for hvac and work in st. Paul area you better have one..lol
  6. Thanks everyone... I appreciate it... This place is great and very supportive... Looking forward to it...
  7. Yes Google is everyone's friends but figure I might get some inside secrets from some guys along the trade and thanks madman. HVAC will be a whole new world but I am wanting and willing to learn. Should be fun. Thanks for the info
  8. This didn't load in original post... Thinking of going the husky belt just because bigger pouches to carry more stuff...
  9. I know there are some Tinners on this forum, looking for advice on what is a need in the toolbelt come Monday. As the title says starting an HVAC commercial job Monday. All the experience I have had before has been architectural in sheet metal. I know tools must be a little different. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated thanks...
  10. Just curious what everyone's set up is for your tool belt. what works for you and what doesnt.... little tips and tricks... pictures always help i plan on grabbing mine from the gang box at work to clean out this weekend i will have pics up then. also what you do fora living or for fun, that your tool belt fits for.... thanks.
  11. Just came back this morning to check and looks like TIA is going to be sponsoring a men's strip club?....hahahaha. I have never tried toe Milwaukee or Dewalt jackets maybe I should check into them... I usually go carhartt jacket and bibs.with some thermal under Armour upper and lower. I live in Minnesota, US. The winters here get brutal.... and for those that wear shortsomething and t-shirts all year long I am truly jealous...

  13. Just wondering what everyone uses or swears by during these cold winters. Jacket, bibs, thermal. What's your must haves.
  14. crazy heights... here is another one from the southside of the building... there is a crane in the picture that is suppose to be i believe the second largest in the USA. the crane that has the two hitches on the backside... hopefully the pic is clear enough. she is here in Minneapolis putting up the Minnesota Vikings New Stadium being built. may have to zoom in to see...
  15. I use a nicer leather one for work.. spent a little more money on her for sure but I do strap her on everyday on the jobsite...she has been holding up well... I use to have a husky one but over a short time the bottom of the pockets started to rip from snips going In and out of them over and over .... my leather pouch has been holding strong... so far anyway
