Try using rebar cutters https://www.boschtools.com/us/en/boschtools-ocs/rebar-cutters-22558-c/ I'm drill concrete with rebar and steel embedments the best method it core drill with water but a cheap alternate would be a rebar cutter drill with standard Masonary bit until you hit the rebar then use the rebar cutter should have any issues. I had the same issue bought it with the 9.0 starter kit to. I brought it back to Home Depot spoke with the Milwalkee Rep he exchanged the saw no questions asked. He gave me just the bare tool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yup I have them they can be used as a side cutter similar to a spiral cutting bit expect for a drill. I used them on drywall,foam,1/4" ply, etc. I bought mine from grizzly not sure if they have them anymore Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's a nice saw for the price I saw at Home Depot the DEWALT 745 was on sale for 279. If it were me I would go with the kobalt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have them and a track saw I still use them with my router. As long as you check for square before you make your cut they are great and they can be used as a clamp

I was very lucky when they first came out aw Meyer tools was having special trade in your old hammer and get any stiletto for $75 I couldn't pass it up trade an old plumb for a 10oz wood handle finish one. Always use it to trim no complaints power to weight ratio is great

I use a pair Pyramex vg3 glass they have foam seal around the eyes that helps with concrete chipping or even fine sawdust makes a nice seal and it comes with a optional strap

Sounds like you got a nice setup. That's a nice Bosch miter saw. I use a biscuit jointer a lot when I do furniture cheaper then a festool domino and in some cases just a string of joint
