Thanks guys for your help. I think it's possibly just a dodgy connector as I finally got the light to work but had to press very hard and at an angle! So I'll see if I can get a replacement as you suggest.

The battery is powering up the tool. I have charged both of my batteries (both are new) and the meter doesn't work on either. I don't know what the wireless battery comment means And thanks for the welcome

When I charged the battery last night I didn't notice the meter on the battery coming on. I only saw the light on the charger itself flash as it should and then remain on when fully charged.

Hello all, I recently bought a new Bosch drill that comes with an 18V 3,0Ah Li-Ion Battery, which is all well and good, but there is a meter on the back of it with an On button that seems to do nothing at all. I've attached a picture of the meter. Can anyone tell me how to get this to work? There is no mention in the manual or anywhere online (that I could find at any rate). Thanks a million for your help. Michael.
