  2. DeWalt switched from 20700 battery cells to 21700 battery cells now that they are more readily available. The 9.0ah now uses the latest battery cells, just like the 12.0ah. This is a good thing. It is a rolling change that began happening in quarter 2 of this year. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Flexvolt

DeWalt's rapid charger is 8 amp output and fan cooled so it cools the batteries too. 2x rate of the Hilti. Makita rapid is 8 amp output. Hitachi/Metabo HPT charger is 9 amp. Bosch rapid is 8 amp output with a 16 amp output charger coming next year with boost mode. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

That charger is only 4 amp output. It's not fast, that's for sure. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. Not one that I am aware of. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. My older one, 3-4 years old was metal. They probably made the switch at some point. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  11. It's the same item. The heater is made by Mr. Heater in a partnership with Mr. Heater. The Fxxxxx part is the Mr. Heater item number The DeWalt part number is it under DeWalt. Same heater. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. Works good on the OneKey models. The newest gen 3 OneKey drill will be out very soon, I think beginning of November. Same for the DeWalt DCD997 with Tool Connect. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  13. What happened to triple or quadruple? If your going that route then. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. Multiple or MultiVolt is accurate and sounds fine to me. It's more than 1 voltage so by definition, multiple works. Dual is more specific as it specifically denotes 2. Either isn't wrong. I think MultiVolt sounds better. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. The adapter is $150 for MultiVolt. DeWalt isn't making one at this time from what I was told. Just buy more batteries. Haha Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  18. No reviews on MultiVolt because it isn't released yet. Official release is next Tuesday. Also, Hitachi had to pay up some for using voltage switching as DeWalt holds the patent. There has also been a MultiVolt X2 battery dust extractor spotted in Japan. . And Makita is so damn secretive. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
