  1. No. A simple Google search shows 6.299 inches or a bit over 6 1/4". It's that easy to get an answer. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. FlexVolt track saw uses 20mm arbor blades and can use the Festool 160mm diameter blades. The stock FlexVolt track saw blade is not that good. I recommend going with a Freud 160mm track saw blades. Makita has a whole 165mm diameter track saw blade range that is fantastic. I am going to see if they fit the DeWalt. 3. Give it the boot! Ultimate surface and tool protection. Part: 49-16-2553 Price: $22 Order from Milwaukee service center or Home Depot online. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. Why spend $70 to replace the electronics on a used drill when you can pick up a new open box model on eBay for around $90 - $100? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. It will need a custom hose for the smaller vax. The hose it comes with will not fit. That is why they state it will not work Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. You mean like this? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  7. Not hard at all. Thread the screw in and then soft tap it with a mallet to pop the nut out on the battery side. It's a friction fit in the plastic hex. Put the nut in the OMT and use a newer style belt clip, just not a real old one, and all is well. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. Just pop one out of another tool you have from the side you are not using. That is what I did for my multitool. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. Simple and efficient layout, the ultimate Metabo systainer setup. Every piece is readily accessible and all chucks have a slot. The insert required minimal modification to fit the Metabo 3 speed interchangeable chuck drill and the new SSD 200 BL impact driver. There is a lot of space life over for drill bits and other accessories. This insert should work with most other drill/impact setups as well with slight material removal. I'll do some test fitting of other brands and post. The insert is the Festool Ti15 foam insert: part 703202 - $44 Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. Makita has their cordless 18v biscuit joiner. Definitely doesn't need to be 60v. A 20v biscuit would be a handy item. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. The Metabo (Starmix) ASR 35 ACP HEPA vacuum has the light. Same for the Hitachi version. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. My thoughts exactly. The new saw is so much better than the old 6.5" saw. The only reason he probably went back was due to the blade location. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  13. And why did he decide it was junk? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. Some saws have flatter tops than others. These aren't necessarily precision machines but we want them as accurate as possible. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. Great saw. I really like it. More power and quieter than others or there. The fence is good and my table top was flat enough for a jobsite saw. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  16. I disagree. The current DeWalt jigsaw is very lacking and has not been changed a bit from its release around 2005 except for the battery mount to 20v. An updated design and barrel grip are desperately needed.
  17. The strap is a common feature in tools from Japan and that area of the world. This is in no way a copy of Makita. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. If you read Kruger's post carefully, he states it's rumored to include those things. I'll wait to see what is actually released. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. Not until beginning of 2019. That's the word on the streets from what I heard. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. These were from a European convention months ago. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. Not Tstak. Just for the Pro Oragnizer. Clear lid with bins, metal latches, and side clips but not Tstak compatible because SB&D doesn't get it. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. My interior working cart. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  23. Tstak are amazing! I have roughly 30 of them. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  24. There is an updated 33° coming too. Travis @TOOLSbyDesign Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  25. The ones that go to these events are not the ones making a difference about the tools. They are the ones that have the largest ability to spread the word about the tools. I've been told by DeWalt that they do significant product testing out in the field with contractors across the country who get to use prototype and pre-production models before final production. Those are the ones who helped shape the final tool. They also have to sign a nondisclosure agreement and nobody really knows who is doing that testing. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
