I use my brushed M12 hackzall all the time with Diablo blades and I love it. I use it way more than my M18 Fuel sawzall. I have to say their bits are the only thing I don't care for. I bought the step bit set for $49 and the smaller step bit broke the first time I used it. Luckily it was just the end so I can still use part of it. Their driver bits seem weak too, but I haven't found any that are perfect. A friend told me to try Makita gold tips.

I have heard Hilti has a great warranty too.

I agree, Milwaukee has one of the best warranty programs for sure. They will also warranty tools without a receipt based on the build date. Ridgid has a lifetime warranty, but you have to follow every step to qualify.

I have a lot of Milwaukee tools and I love them. I gave my dad a few Milwaukee tools and got him started in their line, but he has had a few issues and is losing faith. I use my tools at work weekly and have only had 1 issue where I had to return my One Key hammer drill under warranty (they were outstanding during that process too). He uses his tools monthly at best for home repairs and currently has a bad 4.0 M18 battery, a bad trigger in a M12 fuel drill and now the M18 brushed hammer drill I gave him is making a nasty noise in the chuck. I am going to send the tools in for him as they are both under warranty and check on the battery. Long story short, no matter what brand you research you will find someone who loves them and someone ready to give up on them. Figure out which tools you need, how often you will use them, any that you may want to pickup down the road, a budget and see which brand makes sense. Milwaukee, Dewalt, Bosch and Makita are all comparable brands for regular use tools. If you are only going to use your tools occasionally check out Ryobi, Ridgid or Porter Cable.

I picked up the fuel high torque impact 2763 and I helped a buddy do his brakes. According to the specs the low setting should be 100 ft lbs, but it feels like much less. We tried it putting his wheels back on and the lug nuts felt way too loose. My m18 brushed impact driver, which should be a little over 100 ft lbs, tightened them several turns further. It was a beast taking the lug nuts off though in high. Anyone else have an issue with the low speed?

I finally picked up the Milwaukee Fuel high torque impact at HD for $154 on clearance bare tool. That is the lowest I have seen them in the year or so that I have wanted one. In store only though.

Hey guys, sorry it has been so long since I checked in. I am leaning towards buying the new Milwaukee Fuel leaf blower bare tool, but I would like to know the run time on the 5.0 and 4.0 batteries. I have a few xc, 4.0 and 5.0 batteries, but if I only get a few minutes of run time I may hold off for a sale on the 9.0 kit or fix my gas blower for now. I usually blow out my garage, patio and driveway for a total of 30 min or so run time. Has anyone used the blower with the smaller batteries?

My bad on the link. I bought 2 kits for $58 ea so I got free shipping on that order. I noticed it is back ordered now, I wonder how long they take to get them in? I saw they had them in stock the last time I was in the store, but it's about 45 min from me so I don't go there very often. I don't have an issue paying for shipping if the price is right. I often fall for the $50 or $100 limit for free shipping though and I buy other items to fill the gap. My dad got a great deal on Milwaukee bits at the one he goes to in Florida. 66 piece drill and driver bit bundle with 2 cases for $13 ea. He bought all they had.

Ruralking.com has an LED flashlight and battery for $44.93 plus a today only 10% off sale on gift cards. I bought 2 of these combos 2 weeks ago from them for $58 thinking it was as low as I could find them. The lights are great and the battery alone is more than $45. I haven't been on in a while, I hope all is well with everyone!

I love my M12 Fuel saw. I have cut treated 2x10s, 2x4s, ply, etc with it and it never bogs down with a 4.0 battery. Great saw! I doubt I will use my corded saw again.

I have the M12 Fuel 5 3/8" saw and it works perfect for cutting 2x's. I do have an issue finding blades, but for all the more I will use it its fine.
