Does anybody know if you're able to call and order parts for a tool from Milwaukee? Looked on their web page and just saw the pricing list for parts but not where you can order them yourself. Have the part number from when they sent what I'm needing before but it was from someone on here helping out so didn't know if had to be a service center or what. Anyway thaks for any help. I got the 18v d handle rotary drill (2713) when it first came out and haven't looked back. I do concrete for a living and since picking it up the Bosch corded one we had hasn't hardly been out of the trailer. Know your thinking about the 12v but would imagine the performance would be similar, especially with tapcons. We put in the same size except they're 3.5-4" length and can go all day with no problem. Yea I'm not sure what's goin on with that switch. It seems pretty light. Usually you can kind of feel a click when you cycle forward and reverse, but can barely feel it on this one. So not sure what's goin on. Other day used it to set up forms for pourch cap and while putting in screws kept hitting that button and having to stop and switch it back. So hopefully don't keep that up or it probably turn into a reserve drill and will pick up new one. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

Got it back today, they replaced the trigger and soemthing else don't know what. Don't have any batteries here at house but will get put to use first thing tomorrow so should be all good. Apparently the direction control button must of had some dirt and whatever in it because now it's pretty touchy so haveta make sure and kick it around in the dirt little in the morning ha. Kind of annoying every time put tool down it flips that switch but is what it is. Overall pretty happy with first time using warranty service and got everything pretty quick. Yea I may not have had as much trouble if they had the tool I needed. But they only offered them in a kit and the impact was only thing messed up out of kit I got. Coulda maybe pressed the issue little more but didn't. Did just get a email saying they sent some kind of package back. Didn't say much else so idk if they fixed it, sent new one, or looked at it and are sending the original back. Guessing there will be a explanation in package. So wait and see again. Well it got delivered yesterday, so now just wait and see. First time using warranty service so don't know how it all works.

Yea I'm not sure how much they follow what the warranty is to the letter either. I just know from past experience and what they've told me in the past that the HD we have just lets you swap tools if the right person is working and they have the tool. Don't know if its right or wrong but figured at that point that's between them and Milwaukee.

Yea I tried stopping by our local HD yesterday because usually the guy that works the tool sections is pretty good and in most cases if the tool is still under warranty will just swap it out. He wasn't there and they didn't have the tool anyway, but the person that was there said they would send it off for a fee and I jus kinda laughed and said if that was the case id do it myself for free. But its gone now and hopefully hear something back.

Well just sent it off. Haveta just wait and see what they say.

Honestly that's why been iffy on sending it off for warranty, unless the newer gen ones had more balls would be the only reason I'd like it better. The one key or any other programmable setting don't really impress me all that much. I only need it to drive in 3 inch deck screws, tapcons, and the occasional drywall screw into a stake holding a board. But thanks for the help fellas, looks like will be contacting Milwaukee and go in from there.

Haha Yellow just doesn't go with any of my outfits. Really has more to do with I'm pretty loyal to most things if don't have problems and this is only one I've had issue with and I definitely got my monies worth out of it. If wasn't so deep into the red though dewalt has some tools that would be nice.

Yea I planned on sending them a email but I left the jobsite today and forgot to grab the drill out of the job trailer. I'm not sure its just a trigger issue, when you put the battery in nothing at all happens now. Meaning the light doesn't come on like usually does. Thanks for response though, looks like that would be best option anyway, worse they can say is its not covered.

Well like the title says think I finally killed my fuel 1/4 inch hex driver. Started the other day where whenever I'd put battery in it wouldn't do much of would just kinda sputter when hitting trigger. Was using the compact batteries and at first, if put full size battery in it would take off, but now nothing. Can't really complain though, have had it for at least three or four years and it gets used and abused and never had a hiccup till now. But guess the point of this is is there any point in trying to warranty the thing since have had it so long and guessing from the looks of it they would laugh and is there even a way to look it up and see if its still covered under the five year without having a receipt? I could look through some old paperwork and see when purchased but at end of day to replace it isn't going to cost much more than 120-150 depending on which model so it's deal breaker if have to junk it. I've just never dealt with warrnty service so not sure how it worked.

Have a fuel sawzall up for sale. Got it while back and haven't used it at all so figured someone else might be able to. Not the one key model and is for tool only. 130 to your door. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

I gotcha, yea I had it narrowed down to where I thought the play was coming from just haven't done anything to fix it yet. Debated taking the pin out that I believe is causing the movement and replacing with bolt but that may cause other problems. But I just noticed you guys talking about it and was curious how it worked out. I recently picked up the 9.0 deal that came with the sawzall, that I don't need ha, and really wanna see how the circular saw likes it. I got the saw right after it came out so when they finally released the bigger batteries started looking forward to picking one up. Has any of those 2 methods held up very well? The shoe on my saw has been loose for while and have been looking to fix it or guy at local HD said to just bring it in and he'd swap it for new one, but if its a common problem kinda no point. Mine was a bare tool as well but I figured it became loose because of getting banged around during use or in the job trailer. Not really the easiest on tools tho so it may not be worth messing with.

I'd be goin back in there and checking if they keep messing up, that's some good deals. I've had the d handle drill since they came out and that's all we use anymore. I'm left handed sooo ha. Actually I can and do use both hands it just depends on what I doin and have never had any issue with the blade on the right. But I'm not real picky on alot of stuff people find wrong with products. If it works good enough. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

I can't say anything about the 6 1/2 but I've had the 7 1/4 since it came out and have had real good luck with it. It's done just as good as any corded saw I've ever used as far as power. Use it to rip down concrete forms and 2x10 or 12 all the time and unless the battery is getting low it zips right through. Sure the other one is probably just as good, main reason I got it was it has same size blade as every other saw so don't need to stock up on a different size for one tool. Well finally got done with a long week of work so was able to get the drill fixed. Wasn't too bad but let me tell ya those little snap rings were a pain. But got it all back once got some more hands. To help out. Here's some pics during the process And after getting in done As you can see its been getting used in the month and a half since got it.
