  1. so could MAC batteries be used on DeWALT tools? Would be cool to have a rubber overmold battery for my DeWALT tools.
  2. Yeah I have only watched him a handful of times.
  3. As for most people picking a favorite tool is probably a very difficult decision. I would have to pick my DCF887 because of the one feature not many like that I so happen to really like (Precision drive mode).
  4. so your ave's uncle? couldn't tell if you were kidding or not.
  5. would "Cleaning Tools with Makitapillar" be a good name for your youtube videos?
  6. Anyone ever used Bosch Clic Change self centering bits? They any good?
  7. We need more companies like this. Those that take pride in quality hand crafted products.
  8. You could make a chart or something to write down your findings for how much finish to thinning agent you need to get proper viscosity for the sprayer. Could have a column for type of finish, a column for type of thinning agent to use, and a final column for the amount of thinning agent to add to x amount of finish. You should get proper viscosity for the sprayer almost every time if you use the right amount. I hope your spraying turns out well.
  9. Powered by Universal Battery Platform.
  10. @CATERPILLAR You could buy a lot of tools with it but would they be as good as a wide belt? Could replace or partially replace a few tools with it haha.
  11. sure. Maybe a wide belt orbital would be better than a wide belt planer. Wouldn't want to see the price on it though. The one college got was $20k and I think it was a 1300 model and not a 2300. the 2300 is probably $30k or more haha.
  12. a 2300 would be nice. Use one belt for a high grit sanding pad the second for a low grit sanding pad and the third for planer blades.
  13. We used DeWALT 12v for basic work, a corded for dowels, and a drill press for larger cuts. I got no idea where they ended up. I don't even know if they were ever recovered. I have used a new Timesaver in college. They got it the year before I arrived and as I stated in the message above its great. One of the computerized models. Probably something I would want in my dream shop.
  14. We didn't have top of the line anything in my high school shop but we were blessed to have a Timesaver wide belt sander. Was an old enough model to where it had no depth guide but it still worked great. Back when Timesavers were green. When I was in high school we had problems with tools going missing. Particularly drills. The new Timesaver wide belts are a dream to use. Computerized depth adjustment and can automatically determine material thickness
  15. looks like a nice box. I think it is $39 on kregs website if I remember correctly.
  16. not showing up to me either
  17. yes... and the Bosch and Makita and Metabo... might as well have all the grinders.
  18. Anyone know if something like this would work with finish? ie. polycrylic, shellac, etc.
  19. how does this compare to what Bosch offer's?
  20. If you cant find any online I would contact an authorized service center of Hilti. they may be able to get you one or at least know where to get one.
  21. welcome to the forum @Jorn Soderholm. May I ask how do you pronounce this letter ø.
  22. wait, he's really your uncle? You should ask if he will ever review TIA forum. see if it needs better grease or if the gears are quality or not. The standard AVE stuff.
  23. I know right. I literally watched them plow it onto my neighbors driveway one year. They didn't just wiz by their drive they were actively taking the snow and pushing it onto their drive.
