  1. It is the Makita. It also has a button that releases the plunge. It does this smoothly. The problem is the return, the saw swinging back up to start so to speak. I have to 'help' it pull it back up. I removed the blade and lubed the only points I can see that make contact that might prevent the saw from returning up to the start position but to no avail. This is a new development. It has been an excellent saw for almost 2 years.
  2. My cordless track saw is 1 1/2 years old and has preformed flawlessly...until this week. Plunging is getting more difficult and it will not return by itself. I removed the blade to see what I could see...nothing obvious. Any ideas? Thanks Paul
