  1. I have the jacket. It is a nice jacket by itself. But I am 6' 180 with 6'5" wingspan. So skinny with long arms. I have the size Large. Its more for a person with extra body mass and short arms. It doesn't have a hood which sucks. Ideally I'd prefer the size medium vest and have a hood sewn on to it and just wear it under a light coat.
  2. I use it in my regular m12 hackzall. Probably only have an hour of use with it cutting plastic fender flares, sheet metal and 1/4" mdf. Tool hasn't over heated yet and actually seems to run a lot cooler than the m12 battery. Tool runs a lot faster.
  3. I've been all about the m12 tools for the past 4 years, the compact batteries are what I liked the most. They allow you fit in tight spaces. Recently picked up the surge with the "compact" m18 batteries and it is my go to impact, but the only complaint is the how large the m18 batteries are. I'd love an m12 verision. But I think we need someone to make an actual compact battery for the m18 line. Something like the Makita 12v battery. It would save almost an inch which would be very helpful. I know using longer bits help, but I think shorter is always better.
  4. Has anyone ever messed with some old tools for fun? Rig up an adapter so a m18 battery works in a m12 tool or the other way around?
  5. Any idea when Milwaukee usually releases the specs and dates they go on sale?
