  1. for the money I think the hitachi cant be beat
  2. for home use I would go with Ryobi all day long.the flexvolt from dewalt is great for places with no power,to heavy and expensive for home use.bosch is getting left behind in the lineup category.People saw mikita has the biggest lineup but if you really look at it,its tons of different drills. The big red is just to expensive.you can get six or seven Ryobi tools for the price of reds drill and driver. For home use I don't even thinks its close
  3. California air is the quietest I have ever heard.it seems that if it works good for a month then you are set,or they problems right from the start
  4. ill give acme credit for taking it back.

the box that you walk out of the store with is the same box that was shipped from the warehouse to the store.the packaging would be the same
  6. I would go wit Ryobi, whole kit for 200 or less and better then the Milwaukee.if you like to do any kind of car work or want to get into some woodworking I would get a bigger compressor.the ones you are looking at are fine for finish nailers and blowing up tires but that's about it.a bigger one you could use impact gun, spray paint with them etc
  7. with a good set of bits my hitachi m12vc has done everything I have asked from it
  8. I would go with my bosch 18 volt led light,i know it doesn't sound cool like a impact driver but I have used that light for finding things, working under the truck, camping, fishing at night reading when the power goes out etc.love that thing lol
  9. if you just started to collect tools then by all means switch over to Ryobi.I work as a electrician during the day and woodworker at night and Ryobi will serve you fine.Milwaukee and dewalt and mikita are overpriced.I have used all and I can do anything with the Ryobi as the big names and half the cost.Bosch is nice but they too are expensive and they are falling behind in new tool releases
  10. with any bandsaw I would look at grizzly
