If i connect battery directly it runs, is seems like it is some short circuit somewhere?

Hello I have change switch on a Makita BHR202 drill, when i have disconnect cable from brush holder from switch and press the switch i have power, but when i connect brush holder cables to switch and push button the power is gone. What can be wrong?

No suggestions at all?
