  1. I'm more excited about that m12 1/2in stubby impact wrench as well as the new M12 rocket tower light
  2. Thanks for the heads up! How do you like the adjustable wrench on the far right? heard some mixed reviews about them.
  3. Thanks for the tip! I ended up using Zep rust remover and soaked the metal for about 15 minutes. Brushed it with a wire brush and rinsed it off, they look almost new. However, next time ill probably use your suggestion since i feel Zep is very strong and acidic and I feel like it would damage the handles if i had let them soak any longer.
  4. Due to the good weather I decided to hit up the outdoor flea market today, walked away with some sweet tools. $30 for the Klein multimeter $5 for the Milwaukee Fastback $8 for the Klein 10" adjustable wrench Also bought some Insulated knipex pliers set off of ebay for $52. With the exception of the rust they are in great condition. I'm gonna try and clean off the rust later today.
  5. I honestly never really bothered to look at Kobalt before but recently I saw a video of the brushless 3/8 impact wrench really impressed me. Its rated at 150 ft-lbs but the video showed it breaking loose lug nuts torqued at 220 ft lbs, which was 5 ft-lbs more than the 3/8 Milwaukee fuel could break loose.
  6. I know this sounds wierd but the belt hooks on the gen 2 Milwaukees are the best Ive had on a drill and impact. Its placed near its center of gravity, so when im going up or down a ladder it doesn't swing all over the place. Its a low-key improvement that i really appreciate.
  7. did you do all this at home depot? I also bought the gen 1 kit with stapler but returned it and bought the gen 2 for $179. However i was hoping to keep the stapler but they wouldn't do a return without it.

  9. Bit of a let down to be honest. It seems, for the most part, everything listed on the ad is already on sale or are current promotions. Of course I'm only speaking in regards to the power tools. Oh well, thanks for the heads up!
  10. FYI Lowes has it in stock for $169...
  11. ACME Tools has a sale on the 10in Fuel Sliding Miter Saw kit for $479 with an extra tool or 9.0 ah battery. http://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/milwaukee-2734-21hd

haha thanks for the suggestions everyone. Oh well as long as it works. Dust collection for a sawzall sounds like it can be a hassle, never even thought about it. It was a very noticeable difference from my makita, was just curious thats all
  14. Not today but this month. Only paid full retail price on the sawzall, rest I got through really good deals. Just waiting for the rear handle 60v to come in. Its exciting how far cordless tools have come.

Hey guys, so I just bought the dewalt 20v brushless sawzall. I really like the weight and power on this little monster. However, this thing is LOUD. I'm talking like screeching loud at around 77-80 decibles. I have the makita brushless sawzall and it sounds nothing like it. I was wondering if this is normal for this sawzall or maybe something is wrong with it. Thanks!
