Hi thanks for your answers.I will try to post some pics in this reply.The battery is brand new but it is not a DeWalt oroginal i Think and that might be the reason for the bad performance.When i tested the grinder by cutting of a 5mm X 15 mm ``about the same as 0,2 X 0,6 inch``iron rod,it managed 5 Cuts Before the battery died.

Hi,i have just bought a DeWalt DC 410 battery powerd grinder.It performs realy poorly so i suspect it might be a piratecopy.Is there any reliable way to tell if it is a real DeWalt.This model has the older style stick in battery and there is only two contacs to be seen when i look down where the battery will be inserted but on the battery there is three cntacts,are the third one on the battery just for the battaeycharger..
