Hi, I’m new to this so bear with me please! My mitre saw ( Makita MLS100) had developed a little bit of play at the blade, if you held it like a tyre on a car and rocked it, you could feel the play. On stripping it down I came across a small brass or copper bush that fits on the end of the blade spindle and sits in the gear housing. After contacting a parts supplier I’ve been told that the bush is only available with a new gear housing at a cost of £35 + p&p. Can anyone tell me I can get this small part without having to buy a new gear housing. Many thanks and thanks for looking
