Nathan Valdez
As you all may know, I recently bought a Bosch 10.8v impact. I have 1 bosch pocket driver - the 12 volt. The batteries are identical except for the slight different voltage. Will it damage the tool or the battery if I were to use them interchangeably? #TIACREW
JimboS1ice
10.8 = 12v 12 volt is the voltage for the packs not under load, once a load is applied they drop to 10.8 Jimbo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nathan Valdez
So it's safe?
BMack37
TBH, it would be fine if you put an actual 18v battery on it. The brushes would wear out faster but electric motors are robust as hell. ...but yeah, these 12v batteries under load drop down to 10.8ish volts.
