tonylandin
All I can say is they need to step it up and really pull an awesome number of tools out of the bag. With this much hype they better be way over the top and extremely innovative. I'm sure DeWalt will not disappoint From a fan of tools with lots of assistance from Siri #TIACREW

PKDEWALT
same things i seen looks like a stud and joist drill, also I seen what looks like a metal chop saw guessing cordless, table saw with a light where the saw guard is so probably a cordless table saw and you can also see guys holding batteries with the fuel gauge in the front. so guessing there will be some higher amp hour batteries. also looks like tripod lights or new work lights

tonylandin
maybe the date gives a hint... June 21... because they are moving all the way up to 21volt max!! Yeah cause 20 s not enough so they turned it up a notch to 21 spinal tap style I like it can't wait. jrsalas
New battery platform. Dual carbon batteries, they charge in half the time and produce higher voltage. So yup maybe 21v commimg soon. Thats my guess Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk
dwain
no chance they'll make all their current 20V/18V XR users feel like they've been left out by introducing an incompatible 21.6V tool, there'd be outrage.
framer
why do they tease us like this?? maybe that prototype right angle drill that was on ebay is a clue. it had a big battery.

Tools & Stuff
5 hours ago, dwain said: 7" or 9" grinder? Yeah, 7" cordless grinder
Stercorarius
Why go 7" instead of 6"? Here is best case scenario: whole new lineup of 36v fan cooled battery powered tools. It will include: Brushless circular saw(both 36v and 20v variants 36v being 7 1/4" and 20v being 6"), the right angle joist/stud drill, cordless tablesaw, SDS rotohammer, work lights, mitersaw, 6" grinder ( I initially thought handheld chopsaw but give that one more time) in their 20v lineup we can expect to see the planer, 4.5/5" grinder, 6" circular saw, caulk gun, lighting, a new line of automotive tools and another nailer. They will even make an attempt at keeping 12v alive with a new drill, a few measuring and layout tools, and maybe a light and a right angle impact. I hope this is at least thirty percent accurate.
Stercorarius
Oh but the main thing they will be selling is hype. The only problem is that Milwaukee will use up all the world's available hype resources when they release the tool next week that DeWalt was planning on being the first to have.
