I would think if you were after mid range you would be using a 3/8.

I know !!!' Crazy !!! I'm all for smaller lighter and still "get er done" ....as long as it handles it no problem, I don't want to beat the tool up, though......

Not necessarily, I personally prefer a 1/2" even on a compact.  I know different people have different preferences and applications.  It's possible that a 3/8" anvil won't hold up to 330ft/lbs of torque but I'm no engineer so I don't really know.

Some of the higher torques can snap the thinner 3/8" this won't at around 350 but your better off with more meat on the anvil

Nah, not me bro. I will say that beast will rip lugs off no problem and it looks just like the Mac which they have been building along so this will be a real powerhouse for sure. I'm waiting to get this wrench, all wrenching shall wait.......

A sparky youtube video from the dewalt event said it'll be out by the end of November. I too can't wait to try it out.  I check daily for video reviews but there really isn't much out there yet.
