I forgot about this thread haha. Well if he mounts to a wall and holds your tools then your answer works for me. Correct answer was the tough system wall rack. You can be up if you want.

Okay.

I look like plastic but I'm not; I'm made from wood pulp.

You can see through me where I'm not red or blue.

Part of me is metal.

I haven't gone to China yet.

What am I?

Never heard of wood pulp til now for tools. It's used in place of plastic in some items apparently?

Wood pulp is the primary component of a plastic-like material that's been produced for over 100 years.

I'm stumped. Hard to think of a tool made of a wood material that can be seen through

He's talking about cellulose acetate.

Right you are.  Care to take a guess at the tool?

Spray Foam gun?

Nope.  I knew the wood pulp thing was going to throw people off.  dmz2084 was right when he said cellulose acetate.  Specifically cellulose acetate butyrate, which seems like plastic but is made from wood pulp or cotton instead of petrochemicals like "real" plastics.

And the answer is:

The classic Craftsman screwdriver.

Here's another one:

I'm the tool you grab when you don't know exactly what you need.

I'm often called by a brand name, but my real name is different.

I'll open up for you when you rub me with your thumb.

What am I?

That's the craziest explanation for a screwdriver I've ever heard but I feel much smarter for it!

I suppose I will ask a new question.

What is mostly made of black metal and black plastic, comes in a box and in some cases with another box, and some assembly and installation required to use?

If we want to continue with the previous question that is fine too.
Prebuilt cabinets
