CCinPA
Trying to remove a bolt requiring a 6" socket extension. But... The access angle is off enough that I can not get a grip on the bolt. Help?
SetBuilder
do you have a swivel socket or swivel adapter?
Jpgwoodworking
Get some wobble extensions and impact u-joints. The standard cross style u joints are garbage and will just break things with power tools.
Stercorarius
Yeah wobble extensions or a joint. Impact ones only if you are using an impact. For hand tools, anything other than the standard cross style is going to just be too big for most stuff. It's good to have both.
BMack37
Chrome and impact U-joints are absolutely necessary if you're going to wrench on a semi-regular basis. I don't find wobbles to be all that helpful.

I hate u-joints, though... but to be fair, one of these days I’m gonna order up some KoKen and Nepros universal joints and give them a try.... I hate (chrome) U-joints too...it's better if you can put a little extension on it so you lightly grip that to keep the U-joint from binding. Wobbles are easy to use but they don't wobble enough to get clearance most of the time. Then it can be a paint to rethread if the wobble doesn't stay straight when you push it on, some stay in the straight position better than others.
