AnonymousJoe
I bought a new aluminum truck cap and the locks on the tool boxes and back gate keep freezing! So annoying! I’ve filled them up with wd-40, pb blaster, and some special antifreeze/graphite lube stuff that is supposed to prevent freezing and nothing works. Anyone have any tips? This is a new issue to me, thanks
BMack37
Freezing as in icing over or getting stuck? Dry lube is supposed to work in both cases really, maybe a different brand or way of application. I just saw a week ago some girl talking about a dry lube aerosol. AnonymousJoe
Stuck. Sometimes I can’t even push the key in and sometimes it just won’t turn. I’ll have to hold a lighter to it to get it to work. I’ll look that stuff up thanks
mustang347
The best way I have found so far to battle the frozen puck locks on my service van was to by a small butane torch that I keep in my center council in the winter. I tried a bunch of different dry and wet lubes including the aerosol graphite. I didn't have any luck with any of them.
