Please forgive me if this has already been discussed. This is my first time here and I’ve not yet mastered successfully searching the forum. Thanks! cliu Posted July 5, 2018 Report Share Posted July 5, 2018 Idk for sure on a drill press, but if it is anything like a hand held drill all you need to do is the following 1. open the chuck all the way, which will expose a screw underneath the 3 jaws. 2. loosen the screw (be aware the the screw may be reverse threaded). 3. remove the existing chuck and replace it with a replacement chuck. 4. tighten the screw.
