All ok, I bought a dewalt 692 electric framing gun, works well, but shuts off at 7 nails left in the strip. It says in the manual it does this. Dumb question time, what the heck do you do with all the short 7 nail strips? Stack em back in the magazine? Masking tape em together? Or toss em. Seems like a waste. Framer joe Posted August 29, 2018 Report Share Posted August 29, 2018 Problem solved, some guys report problems with the gun ,but I have 3-4 and shoot paslode paper nails,full head, 3 1/4 HDG...thousands of nails, owned them since they came out....no problems, push the tip ,hold ,fire,... Used bump on shear panels, worked great. Place actuation reads " a nail will fire each time the trigger is depressed as long as the contact tip remains depressed". You can generally put a nail into a hole where you pulled a nail out.
