Basically unlike any other I have owned I have been able to leave these outside, submerged in salt water, left out in the rain, etc. and they never seize shut. Actually they must have some sort of sealed bearing because they move so so freely still after all of that. All I can see is what looks to be the number "17". I would like to buy more. There have been instances where I've had luck exposing / revealing faint manufacturer's markings by flat surface scraping using a hand-held utility knife blade. The Channellock do not do well with water, I have seen rust build up on/in some of my hand tools, just from humidity.
