Robin March Posted October 12, 2018 Report Share Posted October 12, 2018 Hello, Some hand trimmers are available with the ability to be converted to a plunge router (Von Haus, Bosch and Makita). I have the Ryobi 18volt +1 system and am disappointed to see that the 18Volt battery trimmer doesn't have a plunge accessory available. method Posted November 14, 2018 Report Share Posted November 14, 2018 You would be much better off having a dedicated plunge router for the accuracy with depth stop etc. You can buy them reasonably cheap these days if you aren't worries about a large style or certain brand.
