fm2176 Posted November 5, 2018 Report Share Posted November 5, 2018 I've yet to get any dust collection, outside of my cordless wet/dry vacuum (let a friend of my wife's borrow the noisy BF special Ridgid and don't expect to see it again). While the plan is to get inexpensive stationary equipment for the shop, I'd love to be able to eventually get a portable Festool. The new hose alone is a lot nicer than most other vacs out there, and it is hard to go wrong with the less noise this vac outputs than many other vacs. I also like that you can attach systainers to it. I think there is an aftermarket tstak adapter that can fit on Festool vacs if a guy has tstak.
