Mike2
Hello! I'm new to the forums. I am a contractor and go through cordless tools more than I'd like. Without any options in my area for guys to repair them I thought I would give it a whirl. I thought I would try with a big drill that I have, the 750 ish torque model, that I would use for an ice auger this winter. I have replaced the Armature and the brushes but it still seems to be getting really hot when I run it, does anybody have any pointers as to my next step? Bremon
It’s getting hot because it’s a brushed drill that’s working it’s ass off. Next step if this isn’t working out for you is buying a decent impact wrench, or buying a gas augur and spending more time fishing.

You should look after them better or buy something that's better suited to the task.
Mike2
Oh look, a insecure internet troll! I'd recommend you, 1. Know the amount of work a person does and 2. Maybe even know the guy before you spout off some random crap that you have no idea. It really doesn't make you look good, just a immature jerk..... Thanks for your constructive criticism..... regopit
Maybe a cordless mud mixer could have the speed and torque you need
