ToolBane Posted August 6, 2019 Report Share Posted August 6, 2019 The latest model is actually the 12” which I haven’t yet noticed available in the US yet. That’s what I’m waiting to get ahold of. Probably not much reason to fret about not being able to run corded. The Dewalt 12” according to some has a noticeable difference in performance when run via batteries vs a power cord. I’d rather just have the tool optimized for whichever than spend the extra for an extra power option that doesn’t run as well. If an outlet’s available, just charge your batteries. Cordless Steve Posted August 8, 2019 Report Share Posted August 8, 2019 I guess having the option is handy but, my company has now gone almost completely cordless for site and mobile work, so we have a lot of batteries, and I do mean a lot, so it’s never been an issue with our saws.
