I can’t imagine it did much on 18v nicad.... if you believe the rep it’s the second coming. We will just have to see if 2020 becomes 2026 first? I have bought one recently, but it's not a cordless one. It's Black and Decker BDERO100, a small sander for someone who is not a professional, and I certainly am not. I got i on Amazon after I read an article which that was about the best sanders in 2020. After that it was easy choosing the best power tool for the job. The sander was only $34, and in my book that is a bargain, even if it was not a good one I would not be sad. It ended up being good enough for me, and I am satisfied.
