Jdtreferee
Hello all! I've had this tool now for about 5 years, picked it up from a gentleman who used to work on steam engines and trains for a living, he also had no idea what it was for. To me it's very fascinating. It has a couple markings, DRP (So I know it's German, pre 1945), there is a logo, but It's not clear, and a 1. If anyone has any idea please let me know, I've asked a few engineers and machinists but they were left as stumped as I. I appreciate any and all ideas and information. Thanks for reading! Jdtreferee
Someone suggested that it may be an independent brake handle for a steam locomotive. Some of the designs come close
wingless
Welcome to the forum. Wow, if so then that could be the handle that Old Charlie stole in Locomotive Breath, probably worth something.
