36v metabo multivoltage battery charger question

Hello all,

Ive tried searching this but to no avail. I’m looking at purchasing a metabo triple hammer impact. It comes with the 36v multivoltage battery, but no charger. If I had an 18v charger would that work or do I need the other one? I know it seems like a dumb question but I’m trying to save a couple bucks if I can and am new to the metabo/hitachi/hikoki  platform. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the neighborhood.
Yes the 18 volt charger will work, just take a little longer to charge than a dedicated 36 volt.

If you are buying a new tool, make sure you go the the metabo rebate website and submit your info for either a free battery or the ac adapter to run on 120 volt.
