DooDar
What do you think the chances are that Dewalt will wait for a few months after releasing this gun and then release one with 2 speeds like they did with the 1st fix gun?
Mr. Yellow
No chance, I think. The framing nailer really benefits of 2 speeds because those are larger nails. I don't really see the need for this on a finish nailer. Otherwise they would have done that from the get go as they have the tech. But that's just my opinion which could be totally wrong
rossi7x
I'm with Mr Yellow on this... Armed with the 'end user' information they now have from the First fix nail gun, then I'm sure they would have considered wether it was necessary or not.. Alan m
we should see this in a few weeks
DR99
I don't see them putting out a 2 speed version. You need a lot more power to drive a framing nail compared to finish nails.

ChrisK
Yeah that looks really good. No what?!?!?!?! Dewalt 16g or Ryobi 15g?
PeteW
ya i am not sure why they made a 16 gauge angled every angled i have seen is 15 gauge. i really don't like angled finish guns personally because its hard to find the right nails for them but that is just me. midogrumpy
I just got "unofficial feed back from Dewalt Europe":... these guys never want to be quoted, always afraid of big brother watching: but the statement is somewhat reliable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AUGUST 2015 / good news !!! but then again also "bad news"mitre saw only early 2016 !!!
AJB
That certainly sounds more promising than what my main dealer told me. Just wondering why they were so convinced the model number would be different for the UK ??
midogrumpy
yes, curious; I asssume a mistake/false info meanwhile there are lots of new 20v max tools out; as well as 18V in Europe I travel 3-4x to USA per year; there is not a single cordless tool (except the batteries e.g. DCB204 DCB184) that has a different model number;they are identical in "both worlds" cheers
AJB
I can't wait till this comes out and for Dan and Eric' to get there hands on it for a proper T.I.A review and a comparison with the old xrp version dc618
