comp56
And since you are just so inquisitive comp56, I thought I would throw it out there that I have a Canon 16MP camera. If I uploaded the full resolution photo's to this site, the file size would literally break the server. So I always scale the photo's down for successful upload and to avoid overload. But I must admit, the details that you see in the photo's that it takes, you realize that it sees things better then you do.yes I too have this problem, I have a 24.2MP nikon
rfwjr
I love my Milwaukee tapes. I have heard good things about the Stanley Fatmax also.
Bremon
I've got a Milwaukee 16ft Tape Measure. The thing looks bad ass, but I don't like the tape on it. It only has a 7ft stand out which really sucks compared to the 11' foot stand out on my Stanley 25ft Fatmax. The Milwaukee also developed a slight kink around the 11 inch mark or so, i've had the thing for less than 3 months I think. Thing's I do appreciate about the Milwaukee is that its built like a rock, the hook on the end grabs nicely, the belt hook is the best ive seen, it looks really nice, it feels really nice, the built in finger guard is kinda funny though, its not like my finger was ever in danger from the hook anyway lolyeah the blade stand out isn't so hot. The finger guard is actually for using a finger to hold the blade out, which I do find quite convenient. If it didn't have the wire loop I imagine the hook would eventually get sheared off. The nylon feel to the blade is odd and also makes an annoying noise while retracting. I agree with your thoughts on it overall Nalu
Nalu Rash
yes I too have this problem, I have a 24.2MP nikon 24 Mega Pixels! Holy Jesus! hahaha...I remember about 10 years ago, a 12 Mega Pixel camera was high end
comp56
24 Mega Pixels! Holy Jesus! hahaha...I remember about 10 years ago, a 12 Mega Pixel camera was high endya they have come a long way....this thing also has wireless shutter, GPS, even wireless internet so you can instantly upload the picture you take to your home computer or others with smart phones ect ect.........lighting has also gone crazy, put a light box on the shoe and put 4 or 5 around the room and you can sync them to go off in sequence or delayed ...crazy stuff
Nalu Rash
yeah the blade stand out isn't so hot. The nylon feel to the blade is odd and also makes an annoying noise while retracting. I agree with your thoughts on it overall NaluThanks Bremon. I've always used my finger to hold out the blade, I do think it's cool that this feature is built into the Milwaukee tape's, I just thought it was funny. But you know Milwaukee, Disruptive Innovation is their theme lol. I'm just so used to using the Stanley Tape Measures, it's taking me a bit getting used to the Milwaukee. comp56
I have to say the only thing I don't like about my Milwaukee tapes are the large end seems to bend easy and therefore must be checked frequently.. but that is just my growing up in a machine/fab shop.....
Bremon
Yeah I agree, I've always held the tape out that way as well and have yet to be cut, though the Red tape is a bit more ergonomic. Stanley level lock is still more elegant though.

It's slightly bent, I didn't even notice this before >

bradboulanger
I never used a hammer drill before a few weeks ago so idon't have much to compare to. like I said i had started with a combo drill with a standard Chuck with chuck key. This thing with a good bit is almost completely effortless, you can hardly feel the hammering action and the battery seems to last quite a while as well. with a New bit It digs like drilling foamSent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk

bradboulanger
Little disclaimer, I have only used the drill with a 1/4" bit for nail anchors so i cannot speak to the performance with larger bitsSent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk

Conductor562
You guy reminded me of a story about my best friend that was killed a couple years ago. When we we seniors in high school a bunch of us took a trip one Saturday night night down to Pt. Pleasant to ghost hunt. Pt. Pleasant is famous as being the site of the mothman legend back in the 60's as well as other strange occupancies. I don't believe in ghost and didn't back then either, but it was a good way to get closer to a chick I was after, so I was game.We started out at the TNT area (the mothman site) and worked our way down to Lakin State Hospital. Lakin was originally a work farm for troubled black kids, spent a few years as a nursing home, and spent its last years of life as an insane asylum. It was the home facility of the guy who popularized the labotomy for awhile and was eventually shut down in the late 70's. It was a creepy place for sure. I have some family in the funeral business for whom my dad drove a hearse in high school. He can tell you some real horror stories about things he saw in that place, which is probably why it was frequently on those "most haunted places in America" lists until it was torn down after a kid fell off the roof.Anyway, we're going through this place and even as a non believer in the supernatural, it made the hair stand up on my neck. My buddy has an older, no name, 1.0 mp (seriously, 1 fucking megapixel) digital camera that he got at Big Lots , which at that time made it the very lowest end of early consumer grade digitals, and snapped all the pics a 120 mb SD card would hold. The next day he calls me and says "dude, you've got to come to my house and check out these pictures". He believed in ghost and shit and was completely disturbed that several of the pictures had orbs and other odd images in them. I on the other hand, was convinced the lens must be messed up, but despite my skepticism, he was conviced. To settle the dispute, we took the camera down to an electronics repair shop to have it looked at. The guy looks at it, snaps a few pics, the shows us that these too have orbs and streaks. My buddy says "so you're shop has ghost too?" dude says "no, it has a gullible teenager with the shittiest camera I've ever seen"I don't know why I though of that story, but I'm glad I did
Conductor562
Nice spread DR. I don't have an updated family photo and everything is to scattered at the moment to get one. I see you did get the M12 jigsaw. I love that little saw
DR99
Yea I picked it up a few years ago as a Home Depot deal of the day. It was on sale for like 59 bucks for the kit. How can you say no to that!! Yea, I want to do an updated photo sometime soon just for personal enjoyment and insurance reasons too. I also have a bunch of Knipex hand tools now. I'm kind of addicted buying their hand tools. I have most of the pliers wrench sizes now.

They tore down all the ones near where I live now though. I saw some pictures people took on the internet and they are freaking insane. The one where Lobotomies were performed might be creepier though.
