Fazzman Posted November 29, 2015 Report Share Posted November 29, 2015 Ive welded metal fencing(Wrought Iron),we just used a Hobart portable mig welder. But yeah more info would be good. comp56 Posted November 29, 2015 Report Share Posted November 29, 2015 good old stick will do, all position, or weld all flat.....preheat welded area to remove scaling and moisture, wire brush as well.....being fence posts there will be no real need for structural strength concerns. chamfer/bevel all joints grind smooth after weld if need be, prime and paint...... no stick welder? no problem do same prep and use a 110V flux-core buzz box........ 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
