Decent safety glasses

Does anyone make transition lense non RX safety glasses? My eyes are sensitive to light so I always have sunglasses on. I always buy the safety sunglasses at tractor supply so I am good outside, but I have to swap to clear usually when I come inside. I would spend some money on them if they made a decent set with transition lenses for sure.

Not safety glasses but Serengeti lenses darken/lighten based on light, it's not as drastic as transitions...but they're the only non-RX sunglasses I know of that darken/lighten. The optics are very good also, I like them better than Oakley and Maui Jim.

OK time for the crew to come through for me once again. I'd like the best mechanics gloves money can buy for 20 dollars or less, and I'd like to see the best safety glasses I can get with anti fog for mechanics work as well. So if someone can help with that, I'd be tickled. [emoji3]

Best mechanics gloves? You got it. I'm a fan of the $15 fingerless style http://m.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Large-Fingerless-Mechanics-Glove-67123-16/203607124 but if you like full coverage go for the $20 pair http://m.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Large-Heavy-Duty-Mechanics-Glove-67113-16/203607118 if you want something a little more heat resistant and durable, but won't padd your knuckles as much these are $25 and have to be shipped http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00547HCOG/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?qid=1458217260&sr=8-17&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=lincoln+electric+gloves As far as safety glasses go, these are my go to. $8 and are offered in any shade. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0007ZDHXU/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1458217371&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=nemesis+anti+fog+safety+glasses&dpPl=1&dpID=41i57YnNfdL&ref=plSrch

I like mine a lot, there's also a coupon code for 15% off. Which I can find if you want. They keep restocking them if your size isn't in stock, basically for the same price as the HF mechanic gloves.

Jimbo I liked those Milwauikee gloves you were wearing, do you think they would hold up working on engines?

They seem kind of think and like they would absorb and hold too much liquid, they have kind of a liner to them as well, so I would think after a few dips in motor oil they wouldn't hold up.

Thankyou for the recommendations guys! Ya my old gloves are torn, and my old safety glasses are worn from use, so it be nice to have a new crystal clear pair. Bemack, those gloves don't look like they offer me much for dexterity. Your opinion? I have to be able to grab small sockets, screw drivers, will those gloves you recommended work out?

I don't think you'll have an issue but it depends on how small you're talking. Give me some examples and I'll do some testing. They look pretty bulky but they fell a lot like baseball batting gloves.

For mechanical/manual dexterity its hard to beat the Gorilla Grip gloves by GreaseMonkey they sell at home depot. They are about 5 bucks a set,I use them all the time, nice for wood working too.

I just put one of each glove on. Put a 6mm combination wench and a 1.5mm hex wrench on a smooth surface, could pick up either first try. The yellow pair has thinner fingertips so I could easily feel the hex wrench but I could have used it with the black/red pair also.

Ok. Makes more sense now. Couldn't figure out why you guys would be wearing diapers to fight fires.

Because Fazzman is so awesome, and knows exactly what I needed, I decided to pull the trigger on two pairs of these babies...

Their $4.97 a pair, shipping is $5.99, then comes your surprise $1.00 tax, so out the door I got them for $17.00. I would have preferred their shipping to be lower for just a couple pairs of light weight gloves but what can you do? I should be able to get at least 4 years between the two pairs, especially if I am careful and don't cut the gloves on sharp objects or get corrosive agents on them lol.

Ive gone through a couple pairs of those they are nice gloves for a cheap price
