  2. Building a storage bed for my wife... So far only the headboard is anything but lumber. I still have a lot to do to the headboard but hey - you guys will keep me honest so I don't get lazy right? Footboard starting to look like furniture. Sorry about the egg and dart crown in the picture - That's actually going on the tops of these once I finish putting them together and patching all my holes.

  3. Could you please specify what you mean by laughable? All of my dewalt seem to be solid and do the job I ask of them. Maybe Milwaukee and Makita has the edge on them but Dewalt makes some great tools, far from laughable imo.

  7. Made a little more progress. Nice snug resting place for my mitre saw and accessories. I hinged the shelf above to make life easier lifting it in and out and also I kept the Base narrow so I can still put a 4x8 on the floor flat

  24. Sorry to hear that I seen a lot of good reviews on it on YouTube, but maybe they got the tool for free or being paid to review it. I would use it mainly for doors and maybe some trim. I see a lot of good tools but when the company teams up with another company it becomes junk, are the batteries made by Graco?

  28. It is a love/hate relationship. When it works it is fantastic, the idea of it is fantastic, however in practice it is... not fantastic. I really wish Graco would team up with ANY other tool company with a well established cordless line. Because its biggest down fall is the batteries. They are only 2.4Ah packs that are the same size as all the other companies 5.0Ah packs and in the three years Ive owned it Ive killed two batteries. Oh yea and theyre $100 a pop and so far Ive gotten no warranty support. The sprayer really needs to be babied along, at times it wont spray, it just "stalls

  35. alright I just made a cut through some 1/2" EMT. I used the Milwaukee EMT blade that came with the saw. It went through it pretty good I must say. This was just one cut though. I did notice a bit of vibration, that might be a concern. I'm not an Electrician and I don't cut EMT all the time. As for cutting out plaster, I don't have any here but I think it would get the job done. Hope that helped out a bit. I would still hold out for the FUEL version

  39. Yup and they always slow things down to a crawl when it comes to buying fixtures, paint, cabinets, etc.. They call and say come hang the lights up you get there half the stuff is missing, "Oh I didn't know I needed four ceiling fans". "Light bulbs I need light bulbs" Don't even get me started about bill collecting

  40. The professional is a 4-mix engine whereas the homeowner type is a 2 stroke. A 4 mix engine is the stijl version of a 4 stroke engine. It had the 4 strokes principe but still uses gas/oil mix to run ( just like a 2 stroke ). 4 mix engine have more torque, use less fuel, less exhaust and sound not so loud. They do are abit heavier and have an extra maintenace step: adjustinng valves every 130 hours of use. Adjusting valves is some thing you can easily do yourself with a YouTube video next to you !

  43. Me and Chris K converted Bigmikez over to the dark side Well I have went through 4 different power tool brands. First it was Ryobi as it was what I could afford but ran into limitations later on. Ryobi is changing that though with some crazy tools now though like cordless nailers and SDS drills. The big thing for me was the cordless circular saw was the worst thing ever. At least in my opinion. Then i went Ridgid found out they didn't have any tools really at that time to expand to at the time. Then it was Dewalt with the 20v right as the launched it and ran into the same problem lack of addi
