  1. I agree, I also don't find the cutting edge on knipex lineman pliers to last any longer. Quite the opposite in my experience.
  2. Not too sure what it was. Probably a long #10 into a 4x4. Was playing around with it when I got it. Although yesterday I tried it with a 3/8 lag into a lead concrete sleeve. That was a no go. Power cut out right away. Wasn't expecting to be up to the task. The first gen fuel didn't skip a beat. I'm just not a fan of how it just cuts off power instead of limiting current. In more realistic usage where it would work just slowly it'll cut out. I do love how it works with smaller fasteners and doesn't trash bits. Just thrown off by the torque limit. If it were just underpowered that would be one thing but this will just stop doing the job. If I didn't know and didn't have my impact driver with me I would be pissed. It is great for the vast majority of what I do. Just has one large downfall.
  3. It's about 11 minutes in. Power just cuts off to the tool with the trigger depressed in high speed. Seems to happen to mine over a certain torque as well. Do you use xc batteries?
  4. Is the torque cut off in this video normal operation? Mine does it too. Even with larger wood screws and I'm not even talking about 1/4 lags. It's kind of annoying.
  5. All of my tools are dirty. I don't have a homeowner collection lol Honestly, most of my tools I use regularly and can't afford to let people use.
  6. That's a feature! It's like a torque wrench
  7. If done right you could have a rotary hammer that won't rip your arm out. It's a good idea for sure
  8. Back ups are nice to have. I like to keep a full back up set of my primary hand tools. As well as a drill and driver
  9. What do people dislike about the 996 gearbox? I loved the gearbox on the 995. 1250rpm was the perfect ratio of speed and torque for most of my needs
  10. My m18 fuel started smoking this weekend... yeah it runs hot

You forgot about their 24 and 36v platforms
  14. I hated that thing. First drill to ever take me for a ride. Hole hawg was great compared to that garbage. I never had an issue with the hole hawg to be honest.
