  1. Wish I could give more insight but don't know that much about these sanders. It looks like a good sander considering all the metal. I would think the only thing that would go wrong would be a motor which would have to be easy to replace.
  2. I hear you. I remodeled my whole house and it was a huge project. My house wasn't big but it took a long time. I took all the plaster down and stripped everything. I look back at it and don't know if I would have the energy to do it again. However in the end it was worth it. As long as you and your wife have patience, no worries. Best of luck and congratulations on the two new additions to the family.
  3. UPS isn't too bad in the States, much better than the alternative here, USPS. Sucks your having so many issues. Never heard much about them overseas but sounds like they need to improve.
  4. Pump action is awesome. I do not know why, but I have to get myself a pump-action shotgun. Something about them is very cool, just like the old-style lever load for riffles.
  5. Let me know what you think of that, very curious how it works.
  6. Good question. I think Diablo has some that they claim doesn't clog up with their sandnets sheets but I haven't used them on that application.
  7. Agree, much easier buying the shotgun than changing tags, that's awesome. Crazy that there is a delay for you.
  8. Agree 100%. We received a lot of feedback that this year wasn't too impressive compared to other years. They had some pretty cool things like the router, which was my favorite.
  9. Yes, very frustrating. I get that specific tools will come out in the US or Europe only but when it comes to batteries, never understood that. The only thing I can think is if these companies have to pass certain tests or certifications before they can sell in a country but large companies like this, you think they would have access and make it happen.
  10. I am sure it is much better quality than the Ryobi, but I never thought I would use something like this and now that I have one, I find myself grabbing it to clean up.
  11. Interesting. Ryobi has one and we use it in the shop. Works great.
  12. If you do this for a living, it may be a little long. If this is not your full-time job, then I would say you jammed out. That is about the size of my bathroom and I feel like the smaller bathrooms are harder than the larger bathroom, more cutting and hard to move around. Mine took about 7 weeks and I did the same in regards to moving pipes and electric. It's hard to work all day and then come home and get a good time in to get things done. Plus on the weekends, I had baseball with the kids. A buddy always gives me a hard time with how long it took me to gut my house and put on an addition but if it's not your full-time job, time is limited.
  13. Good question. The two things I have been looking for over the years are a good glue with the qualities you are talking about and a great tape that doesn't leave glue behind and peels up easily but is strong enough where the corners don't curl up.
  14. Someone else had this issue. Never heard the solution but I am pretty sure they returned it as it was defective. If you are all ready having issues, I wouldn't even waste your time. I would just return it and get a new one. Overall these are great nailers and haven't heard too many complaints.
  15. I have never heard of them before but the product looks cool. That is interesting, wonder if the got bought out or went out of business.
  16. Agree, yes a jig saw metal blade would work with that and 1/8 steel.
  17. Good question, not aware of what would be the best. I use Sherwin William for most of my stuff, I am sure they will know. However, while their stuff is good, it's not cheap.
  18. I used the Hilti Exoskeleton and it's awesome for overhead work.
  19. I wonder if it's air that was trapped. I am pretty sure you are not supposed to shake that before you apply a coat. Just a possible reason. I found out the hard way.
  20. I never heard of Wear until about 4 years ago. Now I love their stuff. Quality.
  21. Looks very nice but I am sure it's out of my budget.
  22. Wish I could help but I am no longer using gas as my property is to small. I am sure someone will jump in here and give you an idea.
