  1. Looking awesome. Love seeing the pictures and all the progress.
  2. Glad you found it and the damage wasn't to bad. My kitchen has the same galvanized pipe. I am doing my kitchen next year and can't wait. Will be cool to see how you guys do the kitchen.
  3. Being in Chicago, you would think I would be a pro. But sorry to say, I have no idea.
  4. Thanks for all the feedback. We are hoping we can do that one day.
  5. I used the Bostitch Rec the other day and for $90, its really nice. It does have an adjustable shoe and the orbital action which works great. The drill and Impact, I am not a huge fan of. They will do what they are intended to do. The grip is nice and I agree, about PC. Not sure if they are coming off the same line because you can see a lot of the same things between the two. No fuel status for the batteries, plus as of now, these are the only two cordless tools in the line. Impact is pretty slow or at least it seems slow. I am not sure if I would compare them to Ridgid, I think more Kobalt.
  6. I agree. Something doesn't seem right that it's overheating and not running long.
  7. Can't wait to hear about the project. How is that Ridgid compressor?
  8. Conductor, you make me feel like a lazy ass. My house is much smaller and in 10 years the only thing I have done so far is the bathroom and a shed. Glad my wife doesn't read this forum.
  9. Wow that was a cool video. Thanks for sharing.
  10. Very cool, thanks for the info guys. Awesome article.
  11. Dam that is awesome. Nice truck. I can't believe you can swap them out like that. Very cool.
  12. The stand you are using, is that a ridgid? Kind of like the Jawhorse
  13. Wow you must have won the lotto to get all that. Very nice and interested to see how you like them. I use mine and love them. That grinder is amazing how it doesn't bog down. Personally I think you will be impressed over the dewalt 36V, but interested to see what you think.
  14. LOL, they are expensive. I have the first version and still trying to pay that off.
  15. Wow really nice job. Ahhh the Red Bull and the Marlboro's. Why do those two things always go together? That's why it's so hard for me to stop smoking, wish I never picked it up. You have been jamming on that house. Looks awesome.
  16. Wow that is awesome. Very nice. I am the same way. I hate hiring someone to do something I can do (Well at least I think i can do). I am trying to find a roofer right now and it's a pain. Who do you trust, plus I have had four people out and only one gave me a quote. I would do it, but man that's a big job to leave exposed for that period of time. Nice job Harold, that's awesome.
  17. Man I would love to have something like that. Looks like it has an awesome view, nice job.
  18. Nice topic and some good predictions for 2014. Regarding the Dewalt scanner, we just tested ours and will be releasing that soon. Put it this way, it's a great party favor. I love the idea of it showing a picture of what is behind the wall and looks awesome. However the reliability is sub-par. Sometimes it works dead one, but a lot of times it fails. I understand they are competing against the Bosch and Milwaukee for a lower price point, but to me it doesn't make sense if it's not accurate. I can accept a scanner to be wrong sometimes (maybe just because i am use to seeing them fail), but not as much as the Dewalt does.
  19. LOL, I heard good things about UWS also. Never owned one, but have a buddy who has one and it has been good to him.
  20. Welcome. Sorry to change topics, but with regards to guns I have a question. I bought my first ar-15, it's a Colt 6920. It says I can use 223 or 556 Nato. Do you know if there is a difference or what one is better?
  21. Welcome. That's cool you get to cherry pick the projects. I love doing decks and basements, but don't get many opportunities.
